An extraordinary wakesurfer designs an extraordinary wakesurf board.
The Key designed by Sean Silveira is derived from the Matrix shape. The idea behind the Key is that you can ride the board generally smaller than what you would normally ride. The Key’s shape is an inch shorter than the Matrix on each offered size. With the nub ends, you get a lot of release on the wave and it carries a lot of speed through the transition. It sports a thinner core and a single to double concave bottom with the V-Spline tail. It is glassed using the Gatorskin™ technology. This is a full epoxy board and will give your riding new life!

GatorSkin™ Carbon/Aramid Glass
GatorSkin™ super tuff Carbon/Aramid glass. The strongest material Phase Five uses. Light weight & makes a very fast/stiff board for those demanding the best performance.

5/8 Inch Core
Less float, more responsive. Increased pop and sensitivity. Always continuous core.

Continuous Core
Same thickness from nose to tail. Adds float on 3/4” boards. All 5/8” thick boards are continuous for best performance.

V.R.T.™ - Vacuum Ripped Technology
Refined vacuum assisted hand lamination process with built in glass/bar stringers on bottom edge of board for extra strength and pop.

1" Single Fin Configuration
Center solo fin setup found on most of Phase Fives skim style wakesurfers. Least amount of drag offering the most speed and agility.

Epoxy Resin
Increased strength and stiffness especially when combined with carbon fiber.

Textured Finish
Textured finish used on selected premium boards. Less weight and increased performance.

Pro-Formance XL Construction
Extremely light weight board construction. This technology is exclusive to the Matrix and the Key and are made for riders who demand the best.

Propel Bottomsheet
Properitary material used to create our digital graphic inlays.

Techno Grip™ Traction - More Grip than Ever
Mid density EVA horizontal groove with dimple dots. These blended features create more traction than a Phase Five footpad have ever offered.

Made in the USA
Often been copied but never reached. Over the last 11 years, Phase Five has grown from a small wakesurf brand to becoming the industry leading manufacturer. All boards - and we really mean ALL boards of the line are made by hand in the USA in the state of Florida.
